- ½ head cabbage sliced into rounds
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs plain or seasoned
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Slice cabbage into thick rounds.
Boil salted water and cook cabbage for 3 to 4 minutes until slightly tender. Drain well.
Beat eggs in one bowl.
Mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, pepper, salt, paprika, and Italian seasoning in another bowl.
Dip cabbage slices into eggs, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry cabbage slices until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
